On Sunday night, I drive into the garage and ran into a wall of garbage. Nobody works in the building on weekends so there is nobody to complain to, not look after things
Today, we received an email from GWL stating that Corig will take over building management starting tomorrow. 5999 Monkland balconies are almost finished. They removed the scaffolding nearly a month ago. No work has been done since then. They just stopped work and left some apartments with unfinished railings. I haven't received any response to emails. The Community Manager has no information about when the job will be completed. This is the 3rd summer without balconies.
Have not met with new owners, but they seem very professional and I have good feelings about them. The lobby which was the nicest part of the building was gutted. I can only imagine the plans are to set a much higher level of standard of the new owners. The garage has been closed for a month for major rejuvenation. They say it will take one month, but I bet it will be 3 to 6 months. . Stay tuned
