No Laundry machines

We just got our new laundry machines.  They took away the old machines about two weeks ago.

We were not notified.  Not new machines for two weeks. 

The credit on our old cards did not work on the new machines.

Nobody told us anything.

Lots of renovations

Have not met with new owners, but they seem very professional and I have good feelings about them.

The lobby which was the nicest part of the building was gutted. I can only imagine the plans are to set a much higher level of standard of the new owners.

The garage has been closed for a month for major rejuvenation. They say it will take one month, but I bet it will be 3 to 6 months.

Got notice we are loosing our garbage chute.

My new Kitchen Floor

Installed a new floating floor in kitchen on Christmas eve

Access to garage is not secure

The access to the garage is supposed to be secure to prevent unauthorized access and to act as a firewall to prevent the spreading of fire.

However the door is out of alignment so it does not close properly.

Cere is gone,. Turek is back

I just got news that Cere is gone and Turek is coming back.

Interesting ....

No street parking becuase the 5999 Monkland garage was closed for repairs.

Parking on the street was a mess during garage repairs.

More dirt

I came home at 9 ish and found that dirt throughout the living room

I called Turek on Friday and he say that there was no work done yesterday.

I talked to the workers and they said that there was a lot of work including the cutting of a big steel pipe and he thought that there would be a fire with all the smoke.

Turek said he would meet with me on Friday and he never called. I called him at 5:15 and he said he was too busy to see me. I took my car to work today so that I could get back to the building in a reasonable amount of time.

Dirt came in from vents and Peter's swearing

Dirt came in to my apartment as I got home last night on Thursday. It seemed to have come in through the stove and bathroom vents.

On Friday morning I complained about Dust in the apartment again.

Complained that Peter told me to "fuck off" and called me a "mother fucker"

Peter complained that I was yelling at him. I was not yelling.

Egan was a witnessed this.

Turek agreed to meet with me later today.

I told him I would take my car to work today so that I be sure to show him the problems

Later he told me if he could not see me. He did not have enough time.

Tear down hallway ceiling

They tore down the ceiling in the hallway and a lot of gypsum dust got sucked into my apartment.

Flooding in Closet January 25th 2007 to present

On January 25th I found the Closet had water leaking from ceiling damaging clothing, walls and floor. I reported this to Christian and he fixed it.

On April 14th water leaked again. Christian supposedly fixed it

May 16th, water leaked in again. Christian called in Peter and patched it

June 1 Water leaked again.

June 8th Registered mail sent to Caroline

July 5th Yet another flood in the closet

July 11th Christian will clean the closet wall - mold is forming

August 9th Turek told me Engineers have found the problem and it will not flood again. They did not want to finish plastering and painting until they were sure . The did clean the mold on Aug 10

August 15th Peter refused to fix my apartment unless I was there. I called Enid to be theere.

Sept 4 Rodney promised that Peter will come on Monday at 9:30. Peter did not show up.
Peter said he never heard about this and it is Labour Day.
Rodney today said that he never talked to Peter, just left him a message.
Rodney will find someone else to fix it

Sept 13 Lots of fighting and complaining to get him to fix the closet.
First he refused to come into the apartment without a supervisor.
Then he said I was supposed to call him with the code.

Oct 1 Yet another flood. Turek will call the roofers. Peter tells me that the roofers
will not come for such a small job.

Oct 4 The roof is fixed - (nobody told me). he guanteed me it was fixed.
Now we are waiting for the plastering.

Oct 11 Still waiting for Peter to clean my closet

Nov 16 Closet is leaking again

Now they have installed a maisonite board
